Something to cheer about in Maryland

For the third consecutive year Education Week ranked Maryland’s public education system as the best in the nation on its Quality Counts 2011 Report Card.  Maryland tops their rankings with a B+.  The nation as a whole received a C when graded across the six distinct areas of policy and performance.
