Let’s Talk STEM is a talk-show style guest speaker program designed to introduce students to STEM professionals and their career paths in a fun and upbeat format. Modeled after popular YouTube celebrity shows, Let’s Talk STEM combines a hosted interview with games and live audience questions and polling. Teachers can decide whether their students participate in the livestreamed session or watch a speaker on-demand. Each episode of Let’s Talk STEM lasts approximately 25 minutes.
One of the main reasons that students don’t consider a career in STEM is the lack of relatable role models. Learning Undefeated wants to change that by connecting teachers and classrooms with STEM professionals from all backgrounds, at all stages of their career. We are seeking young, enthusiastic, and passionate STEM professionals to talk with middle and high school students in the classroom over video chat.
It’s crucial for our students to meet role models from all backgrounds so that they can see themselves represented in STEM. We are actively seeking speakers under 30 years old who are Black, brown, bi- or multi-racial; non-native English speakers; female, transgender, or nonbinary; first in their family to go to college; LGBTQ+; and/or have nontraditional career paths.

Let’s Talk STEM sessions will take place during school hours (normally between 8 AM and 3 PM, Monday through Friday). We will work with you to schedule a time that’s convenient for your schedule.
