Learning Undefeated, a Maryland-based nonprofit organization committed to driving equity in science, technology, engineering and math education and workforce development, hosted an information exchange mini conference July 9-11.
More than a dozen state and federal education officials from Nigeria learned about best practices in STEM education in the United States, as well as business development and workforce need across Maryland’s bio and tech fields, robotics, artificial intelligence and more.
The organization has built and launched mobile STEM laboratory programs across the United States. They are currently working with 2023 Mandela Washington Fellow Julius Ilori, as they plan to launch mobile STEM laboratories in Nigeria in partnership with the Lagos State Government by this fall.
