NASA has a really cool program for students in grade 9 – 12: The Interdisciplinary National Science Project Incorporating Research and Education Experience, which is much easier said INSPIRE. It’s a year-round program that gives participants and their parents access to an online learning community and the chance to compete for The Explorer Summer Experience (which includes a trip to the NASA facility for a VIP tour and workshop).
Applications are being accepted now through June 30. There are a ton of great opportunities rolled into this program and you really need to check it out.
