Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

On Thursday, February 22, 2018 the Mobile eXploration Lab will be a part of WSSC’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. This event is perfect for any girl who is interested in learning more about the world of water and engineering. The program is geared for girls in 7th – 9th grade and no prior engineering experience is needed, just a desire to learn and meet other girls interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
During this fun filled day girls will participate in hands-on activities to better understand the work that engineers do at a water and wastewater utility. They will also hear from female engineers who are an integral part of helping WSSC achieve its mission to provide customers with safe and reliable drinking water and return clean water to the environment.
