On October 23 and 24 the National Mall in Washington, D.C. will be opening its doors from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM for the inaugural USA Science and Engineering Festival. This free expo will feature over 1500 hands-on science activities and over 50 different stage shows that feature science celebrities, rappers, musicians, magicians, comedians, and cheerleaders – AND mobile laboratories!
Among the exhibitors will be 16 different mobile laboratories including the MdBioLab. Located at Freedom Plaza, between 13th and 14th Streets, the MdBioLab will feature hands on educational activities and information on the booming bio-science industry in the state of Maryland. The 45-foot long tractor trailer will be on display and open to the public during expo hours.
