After Hurricane Harvey, schools across the affected areas in Texas worked hard to get students back in classrooms.
While classrooms across the five affected regions are being repaired, gyms and fields rebuilt, and learning materials recreated, there is still a gap for some schools as they aim to provide quality education and experiences for their students. Enter MdBio.
MdBio launched its “Learning Undefeated” initiative to provide science, technology, engineering and math education on its mobile science laboratory to schools in southeast Texas that were damaged by the hurricane. MdBio and the Rebuild Texas Fund are helping more children get hands-on education opportunities, and to develop a love for learning.
