MdBio recently received a contribution from AT&T to support STEM education initiatives and direct service programs that serve students in grades 7-12 in underserved communities. The programs will include the ATLAS college and career symposium and school-based programs designed to engage students about lucrative career opportunities in STEM fields. Thanks to the AT&T grant, MdBio Foundation will serve nearly 1,250 middle and high school students in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County, Maryland.
“Through AT&T Aspire we provide and support opportunities for STEM learning that will meet the needs of the future workforce,” said Denis Dunn, president, AT&T Maryland. “We’re proud to support this program knowing that it will empower these students to reach their full potential.”
Brian Gaines, CEO, MdBio Foundation, added: “MdBio is thrilled to receive this contribution from AT&T and continue our partnership. The support from AT&T allows us to provide transformative, hands-on STEM education opportunities and connect students to STEM industry professionals. These programs open doors to students in underserved communities and prepare them for today’s workforce.”
