Learning Undefeated is driving race and gender equity in STEM through experiential and deep-impact learning experiences for students from under resourced communities.

Through innovative and experiential education programs for grades K-12, we are sparking interest in STEM careers, building the workforce that will drive the innovation economy, and bridging school, community, health and business.

A rising sophomore majoring in biology at Montgomery College, currently serving as a mentor in the Emerging Leaders in Biotechnology program. A 19-year-old, first-generation college student, Gabby is coaching high school students in advanced scientific techniques, while learning new laboratory skills and making professional connections with women of color who work in STEM fields. An energetic young educator, Shelly Waller began her teaching career at a diverse Title I school in Fredericksburg, Virginia where more than 60% of students come from economically disadvantaged households. Awarded “New Teacher of the Year” in her first year at Salem Elementary School, Shelly spent three years teaching third and fourth grade before moving to an instructional technology.
